It’s masterfully balanced, with mainland and island whiskies forming the blend. The malt-to-grain ratio tilts ever so slightly toward malt. Using a high malt-to-grain ratio, this looks to Speyside and Highland malts that have been matured in sherry and bourbon casks for its primary components. Though there a good few cracking wee drams on top of those too!
