Old Parr was originally a 12-year-old blended malt, although it soon became a blended Scotch whisky, and emphasised its age by taking its name from Old Tom Parr, who was buried in Westminster Abbey after passing away in 1635 at the (alleged) age of 152. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMacdonald Greenlees were the licence holders of the Glendullan distillery, and the blend also contains a significant proportion of Cragganmore single malt.
