Previously, Mars has been ageing some single malt from its Shinshu Distillery at Tsunuki, but this expression is the very first time we get to taste whisky that was completely distilled at Tsunuki. Until now, the distillery has been mainly used for ageing whiskies distilled at Mars Shinshu, however now their first whisky is ready for release, and it’s just as good as we’d hoped! It was bottled up in 2020 at 59% ABV, with 9,984 bottles produced.
