Ardbeg whisky tastes brilliant when it's finished in a sherry cask. How do we know? Because Darkness has proved it time and time again by taking whisky from the legendary Islay distillery and then giving it a further maturation in casks that previously held oloroso sherry.

This independently-bottled Ardbeg has been aged for twelve years, including a finishing spell in Oloroso sherry casks. Like the other members of the ‘Darkness’ range, this whisky puts those sherried qualities front and centre. It’s limited and exceptionally desirable.

Distilled at the Ardbeg distillery, only 258 bottles were produced.

TASTING NOTES

Nose Dried fruit and rich smoke blend with coffee and juicy red apple sweetness.

Palate Red fruit, bonfire embers, honey-roasted nuts, marmalade, and meaty malt.

Finish Smoke, sea, and sherry mingle together for a while.
