This is an unusual whisky released initially for the Ardbeg Committee exclusively and sold out and then made more widely available. The Ardbeg Committee is a worldwide fan club and community of over 120,000 members and counting for enthusiasts of Ardbeg.

It’s a limited edition, a collector's item, inspired by the punk scene attracted to Port Ellen, Islay in the 1970s.

Ardbeg claims that this whisky will ‘puncture your taste buds’. It’s made with black malt, a heavily roasted barley, normally used to make Guinness and other stouts.

This is a spicier, sharper Ardbeg. It comes with notes of burnt toast, roasted coffee and nuts with a lovely sweetness.

It’s non-chill filtered and considering Ardbeg’s reputation and its pale colour, most likely uncoloured.

Ardbeg Ardcore is ideal for collectors and connoisseurs.

Originally an exclusive for Ardbeg Committee members, it's a bottle of Ardbeg Ardcore, released to celebrate Ardbeg Day 2022! Made with roasted black malt, those punks at Ardbeg have described it on the label as "like biting a spiky ball" and, coming from them, we're totally on board with that.
