Tasting Note by Bunnahabhain:
Gleaming a warm rich amber, our malt has an unmistakeably peppery and smoky aroma alive with sultanas, figs and sweet berries. This sublime sweetness rolls gloriously across the tongue, with notes of figs rolls and vanilla tumbling with caramel and roasted nuts, leaving behind the softest whisper of pepper and smoke.

This Bunnahabhain spent its entire life span (11 years) in Manzanilla Sherry casks. It was distilled on July 2nd 2008 and distilled in May 2020.

I love to try when Bunnahabhain releases whiskies that are aged entirely in an unusual cask. I will also review a Bunnahabhain 14 PX Cask which was stellar!
