Dalmore 15 year Old Millennium Release 1263 Custodian Bottling (2015) 70cl

Distilled in the Highlands at Dalmore distillery, this is the second millennium release by the distiller. This expression was distilled on the 1st of January 2000 and was placed to mature in specially selected Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts which previously held 30 year old sherry. Part of a limited release, this whisky was bottled at a strength of 50% abv.

Alexander Mathieson established Dalmore Distillery in 1839 on the northern shore of the Cromarty Firth near Alness in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Dalmore stills are unique, the wash stills have flat tops and water jackets encircle the necks of the four spirit stills. Visitors are welcomed at Dalmore malt whisky Distillery visitor centre where distillery tours are available. A participant in the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
