Blends were everything once, single malts shoved them partially out of the way, and now a good blender is a treasure to simply create something that you can pour in a Glencairn, not spend a lot of money and think "I would have another one!". We believe this is one of those superior blends & for the money comparatively you certainly won't be buying almost any of the whiskies in Scallywag. Macallan is £67 minimum, Glenrothes 10 for £40 or so and a Mortlach will run you more than £100

Inspired by a long line of Douglas Laing family Fox Terriers, Scallywag Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of aged Speyside Single Malts matured predominantly in Spanish Sherry casks. The resulting Whisky reveals an explosion of rich, dark fruits, chocolate and spice interwoven with late vanilla. Award-winning Scallywag is bottled and released in genuinely small, precious batches.
