Freud Distiller's Cut German Single Malt Whisky (2023) 70cl

The German whisky market has emerged with some very good spirits and in particular out of the Ox, Freud, Slyrs & St Killians just to name a few.

The distilling standards mirror Scotland pretty much.

This single malt whisky is produced by Freud Whisky, a German distillery located in the town of Spaichingen in the Swabian Alb region. The Distillers Cut is a limited-edition release that is bottled at 41.5% ABV.
It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, which gives it a rich flavour profile with notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit.
