If you have been paying attention to the rise and rise of Glenallachie, you will know that their single cask expressions have been taking the whisky world by storm in their simplistic labelled yet complex flavoured out turns. We are excited to present yet another.

Presented as part of Glenallachie's eighth batch of single cask releases, this rich whisky was distilled in 2009. Aged in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead for thirteen years of maturation. It was then hand selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker and bottled with no added colour and un-chill filtered. The influence of the sherry cask comes through as notes of dark chocolate and spice which melds with Glenallachie's signature honeyed spirit to create an intense, indulgent dram. A UK exclusive limited to only 350 bottles.

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Notes of baking spices, chocolate and heather honey, with citrus, ginger and truffle oil.

Palate – Bursting with chocolate buttercream, plum jam and treacle crystalized ginger, bananas, and cinnamon.

Finish – Caramel sweetness with soft oak
