The whisky, bottled as The Glendronach 'Grandeur', was specially selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie from some of the oldest and most unique sherry casks at Glendronach. Each of the 2293 bottles are numbered

This is the 10th expression in the limited edition Grandeur range from The GlenDronach. It's a 27 year old single malt that was matured in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and butts, which have been described as some of the distillery’s oldest and most unique sherry casks.

Matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Olorosso sherry butts and puncheons, the distillery describes this whisky as an intense shirred expression.

Tasting notes from the distillery - "layers of damson, plum, black walnut and truffle on a bed of antique leather and old fashioned treacle gingerbread. Batch 10 celebrates the robust, full bodied style of the Glendronach distillery"

The Grandeur, many agree, is the pinnacle of what Glendronach do and is just incredible just as a rich, dark, sherry whisky experience.
