Glenglassaugh Revival (2021) 70cl
The first bottling from the Glenglassaugh Distillery, which reopened in 2008, impresses with winter notes of chocolate, plums, oranges and spicy oak. Perfect for cold days. Bottled without coloring or cold filtration with an increased drinking strength of 46.0% vol.
Initially debuted in 2012, this was the first Whisky to be released by Genglassaugh after re-opening in 2008. Initial maturation in ex-bourbon and red wine casks was followed by 6 month finishing in Oloroso sherry casks. All three cask types work well in unison to create remarkable complexity and depth of flavour for such a young Whisky.
TASTING NOTES
