This 3rd Legacy Series release celebrates Sir Arthur John Tedder, the Glengoyne exciseman who helped define whisky as we know it today, embodying our pursuit of Unhurried Perfection.

Teder would be proud of this exceptional whisky- bottled using some of the very finest American oak sherry casks in our Glengoyne warehouses- and we thank him for his attention to detail and stanch standards.

With this single malt, the Legacy series from the Glengoyne distillery in the Scottish Highlands is entering its third and final edition. This whisky was created in honor of Sir Arthur John Tedder, the exciseman (responsible for taxes) of the distillery, who also lived on the company premises between 1889 and 1893 and was a member of the Royal Whisky Commission in 1908, which determined the criteria according to which Scotch could be sold as Scotch.

During the maturation phase, this single malt was stored in former sherry casks made of American white oak, which have a significant influence on the aroma of this whisky. In the glass, the Glengoyne Legacy Chapter Three shimmers in a beautiful, golden colour. The bouquet has the sherry notes typical of Glengoyne, which contain a variety of aromas. You can recognize hints of jam, cinnamon and vanilla, among others. Light fruits also play around the nose and give this single malt from Glengoyne a wonderful accessibility.
