A super-premium entry in Glenlivet's range, this has been finished for a couple of years in Oloroso casks - so an extra depth of flavour and silky sweetness is the order of the day.

But it’s the nose on the 25 Year Old that really drives whisky-lovers to distraction – with scents of bittersweet dark chocolate and plump, sweet sultana.”

Finished in Oloroso sherry casks, Glenlivet XXV (25 Year Old) is a delightful dram that has certainly got better with age. A rich nose of sultana and cherry as well as baked apple comes through before a delightful smooth palate of sherried peels, walnuts, toffee and dried fruits. Truly lovely.
