From the family-run, small-batch spirits producers from Sonoma County comes an American whiskey which was created with organic Californian corn and roasted malt. It was originally matured in new American Oak barrels before being finished in stout beer barrels which were sourced from Lagunitas Brewery, who are friends of Griffo. TASTING NOTES

Nose Roasted chocolate malt, coffee beans and dry earth lead, before lively orange peel and fresh fig provide a sweet underlay.

Palate Fresh-ground black pepper crackles through dark chocolate, burnt toast and oily walnuts. Classic bourbon nutty sweetness fills the backdrop with gingernut biscuits, prunes and a little caramel.

Finish Toasted oak and espresso linger with a hint of tobacco.
