SMWS are an Independent long established bottler that take care to select great casks and offer them only to society members.

Thanks to Whisky Situation, we can now extend this for some older bottles that are no longer sold ever again until we rescue them and place them onto our website for the general public. If you live in a country that does not have a society, then this is pretty much the only way to get a hold of some of these rare single cask expressions that carry a little more variety than the core range bottlings from the brands.

Distilled at Jura on the 27th September 1988 and left to mature for 27 years in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead, before being bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society at full strength.
