A bottle of Macallan 1980's 10 year old Sherry cask, 70cl, 40% abv, in original box from 30 or so years ago

Very sought after in recent times due to the distillation methods of old producing a different feel of the sherry casked whisky that once was.

A classic Speyside whisky with a gracefully charming character. A collector's piece for sure!
This expression was discontinued by the distillery in 2013 making this a particularly collectable item.

Tasting Notes

Finish Medium finish with chewy oak and pepper on the tail.

*box has minor stains on it but nothing major. We are getting onto approaching 40 years of this bottle being in existence and 10 years before, the whisky being distilled in the 1980s.
