The Macallan Aurora marks the start of a voyage of discovery, signifying a new dawn that explores the essential role of sherry-seasoned oak casks in the making of The Macallan single malt whiskies. In a truly masterful marriage of four different cask types, hand-picked European and American sherry-seasoned casks and hogsheads are combined with American oak bourbon casks.

Colour: Sun ripened barley.

Aroma: Dried fruits opening into cinnamon and ginger, honeycomb sweetness, fresh citrus notes and polished oak.

Palate: Lightly spiced with hints of cardamom and sweet oak.

Finish: Sweet medium finish with dried fruits and citrus.

Released for Taiwan Travel Boutiques. Brands will occasionally produce variants only for other nations forcing us to look further afield to obtain more of the grand collection.
