A very tasty blended grain Scotch whisky from North Star Spirits. This one was aged for 36 years before being bottled in March 2019 for North Star's eighth batch of single cask bottlings.

Distilled in 1982, this blended grain whisky from North Star Spirits has been matured for 36 years in an ex-bourbon cask, before being bottled in March 2019. Aromas of charred oak and poached plums fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of hard toffee and French fancies that develop into a lingering dry finish with a slightly salty edge.

288 of these bottles were produced.

Tasting Notes

Nose Fruity coffee, vanilla ice cream and a touch of tobacco.

Palate Nutty at first with marzipan and Brazil nut, followed by dark chocolate and charred oak.

Finish Soft dates, oily walnut and honey.
