Royal Brackla's robust spirit matures particularly well in sherry casks, so we are thrilled to present this single cask beauty from the warehouses of independent bottler, Dram Mor. It's an 11 year old that was fully matured in a single Oloroso sherry butt, and promises to be quite the treat.

About Dram Mor

Dràm Mòr is an independent spirits bottler established in 2019 by husband and wife team Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald. The company started as an export agency for Scottish brands, but as demand for independent, high-quality spirits increased, we decided it was time to venture into the world of independent bottling. They provide bespoke single cask spirits to 14 countries worldwide and they're delighted to grow the business portfolio to include a range of spirits along with carefully selected whiskies. Today, their products can be found in specialty spirits retailers, Michelin Star restaurants, and bespoke wine and gourmet outlets worldwide. Viktorija and Kenny both have backgrounds working for Whisky companies and are the co-founders of the Mòr Whisky Club held at Oran Mòr, Glasgow.

TASTING NOTES

Nose – Gentle, warming and drying Oloroso with a slight tropical slant. Dusty old books that someone has spilled golden syrup upon.

Palate – Much more balanced than the nose may suggest. Creamy and cool to start with a big hit of burnt butter and white chocolate. Beautiful stewed fruits sit side by side with old school boiled sweets.

Finish – Warmer, dryer than expected with a delightful heat that sits on the tip of the tongue and doesn't want to leave. Liquorice root, gentian and bitter chocolate linger giving you something to chew on long after the dram is gone. A long finish that lasts an age with delicate spices dancing on the tongue.
