Royal Salute 21 Year Old Polo Estancia Edition 70cl

The first release in Royal Salute's Polo series, which celebrates the world's iconic polo destinations, the Polo Estancia Edition is a 21-year-old blended whisky that pays homage to Argentina – the home of polo. Polo Estancia has been finished in Argentinian Malbec casks from Cafayate, creating aromas of raspberries, blackberries, sweet liquorice and summer berry compote that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of cinnamon, plum jam, dark chocolate, crystallised ginger and dry oak that linger in the finish.

A rich and fruity nose overlaid with notes of raspberries and blackberries, reminiscent of a rich berry compote with a hint of liquorice, the Polo Estancia Edition then melds down to a mellow and sweet flavour on the palate with a hint of spicy cinnamon combined with plum jam & dark chocolate ginger sweets. It finishes long and sweet with a slightly dry crescendo, perfect for a digestif or nightcap.
