This bottle comes to you from the same person who asked us to retail their Palo Cortado bottles. Normally we would not list this however, the cause is a noble one as to why they need to the money.

These are called Cage Bottles due to only 9 per week or so being available for distillery visitors to get ahold of or sometimes less of them.
For someone to come to Springbank to buy one, they are not guaranteed to be there and are straight from cask on this, one would have to buy a flight to Glasgow, either get a tax and ferry and return which already has someone spending £800+ and then decide to stay in Campbeltown or not sometimes. It is technically more cost effective to pay above the price they are normally and save the time and money on a trip albeit it is a great experience to go to the Springbank distillery.

Springbank is one of the most popular whiskies in the world mainly due to its low production volume at only 264,000 litres per year in comparison with Jack Daniel's 19million litres per year (and rising). Springbank cannot produce more even if it wants to due to space in the peninsula.

This is technically single cask 12 Year Old Cask Strength. So it is a more direct SB experience than the CS release.
