One of three casks of exceptional Scotch whisky, bottled to launch Nickolls & Perks independent bottling range. These rare bottlings mark the start of an exciting new chapter for N&P, presenting fine casks of spirits specially selected by their team of specialists.

Springbank is one of the few surviving distilleries from the golden age of Campbeltown, the region that was once the capital of Scotch whisky production. It is arguably the most traditional distillery in all of Scotland, continuing to operate in the labour-intensive ways of old to produce a truly authentic Scotch.

A 1997 distillation, this rare expression was matured entirely in a single fresh rum barrel, cask number 242, where it lay for a full 25 years in the warehouses of Campbeltown to harness the full essence of its provenance. Through this remarkably long maturation, the whisky has dropped to a natural strength of 49.1% ABV, presented with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
