A young Talisker from Douglas McGibbon as part of the Provenance series. Distilled in the winter of 2008, it was aged in a hogshead refill for six years and was bottled in the spring of 2015.

A single cask from Hogshead 10699 DMG

Lively with Talisker spirit there with a little lighter character. Perfect for those who want SOME peat and like things like Springbank or Arran without being overwhelmed. A fantastic dram and a half!

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A fresh & lively nose with a sea salt & ozoney style developing to bonfire ash, peated malt & damp earth

Palate: Sweet bread chracter with rock salt, ashy & phenolic with late coal dust and barley sugar

Finish: Long with sweet cereal flavours in style with chimney soot, caramelised burnt oranges & smoking peat logs (FHL)
