The Kurayoshi 18 Year Old Japanese Single Malt Whisky (2020) 70cl

The Kurayoshi 18 years is a pure malt whisky, created by the Matsui Shuzo distillery importing their spirits from Scotland and blending them with Japanese malted barley before reducing the alcohol percentage with their famous purified water from the Tottori area. After this process the spirit is matured in oak barrels for 18 years. This results in a very complex whisky with the sweet taste of honey that mixes with smoke, similar to a crackling campfire. Here you can find various spicy notes with a refreshing hint of mint. These linger on the palate for a long time leading to a very pleasant finish.

Made with a combination of malt whiskies from Japan and Scotland, creating a smoky, fruity character with hints of vanilla.
