Tomatin 2006 Fino Sherry Cask 13 Year Old Limited Edition Speyside Single Malt Whisky 3cl Sample

This whisky came to be in 2006 at the Tomatin Distillery. It spent a total of thirteen years in-cask, the latter half of which took place in Fino sherry butts. Those nutty Fino notes are abundant in the nose, while the palate provides baked sourdough and apple.

Tasting Notes

Nose Fresh, oily malt and rich nuts, with fresh, ripe plum and touches of pear skin.

Palate Frangipane and subtle undertones of dried herbs, followed by fresh bread, flamed lemon peel and mace.

Finish Spiced, cooked apple lingers alongside a touch of balsamic.
