The freezing conditions in the winter mean that the Cairngorms is one of the few places out with the Arctic where areas of tundra exist. Cold and windy with sub-zero temperatures in the winter lead to a burst of life in the summer, with wild flowers and animals flourishing in this unique landscape.

Tomintoul Tundra was born in this challenging environment. It is an elegant, balanced and creamy single malt, matured entirely in American oak bourbon barrels.

Tomintoul Tundra is a single malt whiskey that takes inspiration from the Cairngorms National Park, known for its unique tundra landscape. This Scottish whiskey is creamy in texture and has been matured exclusively in bourbon barrels. Despite the park's freezing winter conditions, the region is home to areas of tundra that are otherwise only found in the Arctic, making it a unique and inspiring location for the Tomintoul distillery.
