Whisky Situation Ltd's Journey to Whisky Live Paris 2024

This September, we had the privilege of attending Whisky Live Paris 2024, one of Europe’s most anticipated whisky and spirits events. Held at the iconic La Grande Halle de La Villette, the festival celebrated its 20th anniversary with an unforgettable lineup of tastings, masterclasses, and exclusive spirits from across the globe.

Exploring the Highlights

World-Class Tastings: With over 1,500 products on display, we embarked on a global journey of flavor. From bold Scotch whiskies and complex Irish blends to innovative Japanese creations, the event was a paradise for whisky lovers.

Themed Zones: We explored distinct areas such as the Rum Gallery for premium sugarcane spirits and Le Patio des Agaves, dedicated to tequila and mezcal. These spaces highlighted the diversity of the event and introduced us to spirits beyond whisky.

Gin Lane & Sake District: Whisky Live Paris celebrated the broader world of spirits, featuring gin innovations and a growing focus on sake. We were particularly impressed with the creativity on display in these burgeoning categories.

Immersive Experiences

Masterclasses: Renowned distillers and blenders offered insights into their craft. Learning about new production techniques and trends deepened our appreciation for the art of distillation.

Cocktail Street: This vibrant avenue, accompanied by live music from Radio Nova, allowed us to indulge in bespoke cocktails and gourmet street food—truly blending the worlds of whisky and mixology.

Exclusive Previews: We tasted some limited-edition releases that are yet to hit the market, ensuring our customers will soon have access to rare gems.
Bringing Paris Home

Despite the rain and sun battling for dominance, we made the most of our time in Paris. We networked with fellow enthusiasts, met passionate producers, and—most importantly—returned with a carefully curated selection of bottles for our collection. From bold peated whiskies to exotic tequilas, these additions will soon be available for our customers to explore.
