A remarkable four-grain blended rye whiskey with a final mash bill of 77% Rye, 16% corn, with wheat and barley making up the rest. Made in small batches, this rye recipe combines our signature bourbon blended with a distinctive straight rye mash bill, both aged in new, deep-charred oak barrels for a minimum of four years. The result is a well-integrated and complex rye whiskey full of robust flavors with a full-bodied mouthfeel and extra-long finish.
Tasting Notes
The nose is met by a scent of spice, enriched with subtle notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The palate is bold and lively, packed with tannins, wild shrubbery, and red berries, rounded out by a dash of acidity. The finish is long and complex, with wild bush, curry, pepper, ginger, red berries, and black fruits. The final note ends with a taste of light cacao.
