Tasting Notes
Nose : Smoky and intense with aromas of grilled meats, bell pepper and green banana with hints of eucalyptus and maple sweetness.
Palate : Layers of grilled fennel, Pak Choi and cured meats mingled with rich fruit cake, liquorice, black olives and cinnamon sticks.
Finish : Warming and long with layers of marzipan, prosciutto and pistachio fading into a sweet, smoky, aniseed linger.

Old Ballantruan is a line ofheavily peated single malt Scotch whiskies from the Tomintoul Distillery in the Speyside region. Named after the Ballantruan spring, which provides the distillery's water, these whiskies offer a smoky, earthy, and creamy flavor profile, contrasting with the typical smooth Speyside style. The range includes a no-age-statement "Smoky Original" and expressions like 10-year-old and 15-year-old versions, all bottled at a robust 50% ABV and without chill-filtration.
