A whisky that has been out of production for 21 years now. Distilled somewhere in the late 1970s. A rare beast to find on today's market.
Nose: Fresh bread with butter and salad leaves. A picnic in a field of daisies. A dusty start (sacking/cigar ash) with a hint of putty, then mellows into rum-soaked dried fruits. Sweet and slightly savoury. Becomes toffee-like.
Palate: Fresh, doughy bread with lashings of real butter. Surprisingly light, but has creamy softness and firm oakiness. Clean, orange peel, toffee sauce.
Finish: Lemon marmalade, with bittersweet peel. Dry, slightly oaky
