Launched in 2009, Tomintoul 33 year old was matured in carefully selected bourbon casks. It replaced the popular 27 year old expression. A whisky of high quality, this is further evidence of this distillery's continued renaissance since the takeover by Angus Dundee in 2000.
Tomintoul 33 Years Old Special Reserve is a very well-matured Tomintoul single malt, released in August 2009 to replace the 27-year-old launched five years earlier. The expression was named Best Speyside Single Malt at the 2010 World Whisky Awards, and won a Gold Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
