About White Horse
White Horse Distillers was a Scotch whisky company originally established in Edinburgh in the late 19th century. It became best known for creating the White Horse blend, which incorporated malt whisky from Lagavulin and other Islay and Highland distilleries. As a bottler and blender, the company sourced whisky from across Scotland to support its brand portfolio. White Horse Distillers was eventually absorbed into larger drinks groups, but the White Horse name remains a recognised historic blend.
