This single malt brand has been since resurrected from its early days. 

About Old Orkney

Old Orkney is well-known for its unique O.O motif and was originally used to market malt whisky from the Stromess distillery on Orkney. The brand was introduced in the late 19th century by Roderick and Duncan MacPherson and although the distillery closed in 1927, remained available until the 1930s.

The label was revived by Gordon & MacPhail in the 1990s and the Elgin company registered the trademark in 2009
