"We blend barrels with various toast levels creating a well-rounded flavor profile that is viscous and rich. Notes of vanilla, marshmallow, and sweet wood are frequently present in our Toasted Small Batch. To prevent the potential overexposure to wood, we diligently taste through our barrels of toasted bourbon to ensure peak maturity and flavor. Once a barrel meets our criteria for the toasted single barrel program it is then available to be selected by a customer or used in the toasted small batch."
