The defining characteristic of Saburomaru VI The Lovers is that it’s a new and innovative creation from Saburomaru Distillery, uniquely blending two distinct personalities: Highland peat distilled in 2020 and Islay peat distilled in 2021. This masterpiece brings together the maritime notes of Islay peat with the earthy nuances of Highland peat, allowing them to resonate with each other and weave a truly unique story.
This bottling, distilled in 2020/2021 and bottled in 2025, has been aged for approximately 4 to 5 years. It boasts a remarkably smooth and mellow mouthfeel with almost no alcoholic harshness.

Finish: The aftertaste leaves a memorable impression, with soft smoke embracing sweet and spicy nuances, complemented by a salty tang.
