Suntory Special Reserve Lyre Decanter Japan Exclusive Blended Whisky (1989) 60cl
A limited edition decanter for the Japanese Market as part of Beam Suntory's musical instrument range including a Lyre, Harp, Piano, Violin, Biwa and Saxophone.
Quite remarkable to think that soon this will be a 40 year old relic that was distilled in the 1980s. If anyone knows how to make timeless collectables, it is certainly Beam Suntory. We carry a wide range of their decanters and all of them are fantastic shelf pieces of for drinking and refilling work well also. The whisky tastes like an older version of Yamazaki 12 with added Chita.
There are usually only two places to see these. Either at your house after purchasing one or at the House of Suntory museum in Osaka where the distillery is located a few stops away from the train station.
