TASTING NOTES

Colour: Light copper

Nose: Sweet and vinous, malty, inviting. Fruit and honey, oak notes.

Palate: Smooth with rich fruit, honey, and spice notes

Finish: A medium lingering oak finish giving way to nuts and marshmallow

About Tyrconnell

Tyrconnell is a historic whisky brand that has been revived by the Cooley Distillery. Formerly owned by the Watt distillery, which dates back to 1762, Tyrconnell was a family business.

The Watt family had a proud tradition of producing fine whiskies and, at the same time, a great love of horse racing. Tyrconnell was established as their flagship brand around that time and was subsequently named after a highly successful racehorse owned by the Watt family.
