Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the very embodiment of authentic bourbon. It’s home-grown and handcrafted from the finest ingredients under the sun. Every expression is made from a sweet mash bill and barrel-aged in the intense Texas climate. We grind our grain fresh daily and cook our own sweet mash – one batch at a time. Then we marry the distillate with fresh Hill Country rainwater that we harvest and purify ourselves. Out here, it’s 100 degrees nine months out of the year, and even hotter inside our steel barns. As the spirit matures in our new American white oak barrels, it cycles through the wood’s pores and crevices, soaking in the sugars from the sap, and yielding an aroma brimming with butterscotch, nutmeg, and vanilla. Notes of fruit dominate the palate, with hints of butter, whipped cream, angel food cake and oak. The finish is smooth, with chocolate and espresso notes.
