Produced by Suntory, this release is the third in the Essence of Suntory Whisky series. This expression is blended whisky which uses Hakushu matured in both Cedar & white oak barrels and grain whisky from the Chita distillery. This expression has been matured for an undisclosed period of time before being bottled at 48% abv.
Released at the end of 2019, this is from Volume 3 in the Essence of Suntory range of whiskies.
it is believed that these have been aged for six or more years in casks with cedar heads. These whiskies have been blended with Hakushu malt whiskies aged in white oak casks and clean-type Chita grain whiskies.
