A very special Wolfburn limited edition single malt whisky. Just 1939 bottles of Wolfburn Help For Heroes have been created to commemorate 80 years since the outbreak of WWII.
The whisky has been assembled from a mix of first fill bourbon and Oloroso sherry-casked Wolfburn and £5 from every bottle sold will go towards raising £10,000 for the Help For Heroes charity and to sponsor powerlifting champion Micky Yule, who fought back to win Gold for Britain at the Invictus games and the World Para-powerlifting European Championships after losing his legs while serving in Afghanistan with the Royal Engineers.

Tasting Notes
Nose : sweet with strong honey, apple, and baklava.
Palate : dried fruit, burnt oak and pepper
Finish : hints of honey return and some peaty smoke. An interesting bottle.
About Wolfburn
Situated on Scotland’s rugged north coast, the Wolfburn distillery was first established in 1821, rapidly becoming the largest distillery in the Caithness area. The purchase of the land was finalised in May 2012 and the first ground was broken on the new site just a few months later. The new Wolfburn distillery building is just a short walk along the burn from the old site towards the sea.
The Flow Country covers much of Caithness and has done so since the end of the last ice age. It is an ancient and almost unique environment, the largest expanse of blanket peat bog in Europe, perhaps the entire world.
Today Wolfburn’s distillers fashion their whisky the same way it was always made, by hand, using only the finest ingredients, and without haste. Distilled, matured and bottled on-site at the Distillery.
