Woodford Reserve’s Distillery Series was created to push the creative boundaries of whiskey. The series has included expressions such as Tawny Port Finish, Chocolate Whisper Redux, Blended Malt Sherry Cask, and Toasted Bourbon.
Woodford Reserve Distillery Series Triple Pot Still is the newest addition to the Distillery Series family. Released to celebrate the brand's 30th anniversary, the Triple Pot Still was crafted entirely from whiskey distilled in our three copper pot stills. Commemorating Woodford Reserve's pioneering role in marrying pot still and column-distilled whiskey, this expression honours an innovation that helped shape modern American whiskey.
In commemoration of the 30th Anniversary we celebrate one of the defining aspects of our whiskey making process: Triple Pot Still Distillation. For the first time we have chosen to prominently highlight this distinction.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: A medley of mulled apple and pear layered with warm baking spices of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, complemented by notes of toasted coconut and hazelnut.
Palate: Warm baking spice leads, then mellow into rich cooked apple and pear followed by the sweet, nutty character of candied pecan.
Finish: A long, lingering finish of sweet spices and pecan.

With this transition, Chris Morris has moved into a revered role as Master Distiller Emeritus, where his invaluable insights will continue to inform and inspire. Together, Chris and Elizabeth ensure every drop of Woodford Reserve is a true spectacle for the senses.
Elizabeth McCall is the Master Distiller for Woodford Reserve, overseeing quality and innovation and leading special releases, including the Master’s Collection and Distillery Series. She is a Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS).
McCall has a master’s degree from the University of Louisville and began her career as a member of Brown-Forman’s Research and Department in 2009.
McCall was a Master Taster and Assistant Master Distiller before being named master distiller in February 2023.
She interacts one-on-one with consumers through personal barrel selections and education on sensory methodology and works to define the quality sensory standard to which every batch of Woodford Reserve must comply.
